Private Label 3D Printer Filament Manufacturer
We own the extrusion lines. You own the brand on the spool. VANYO produces PLA, PLA+, PETG, PETG-CF, ASA and TPU filament under our customers' labels — own-brand spools, printed boxes, your SKUs and barcodes, custom colors — at a published ±0.02 mm diameter tolerance.

Six material families, extruded on our own lines.
Every one is in production today and can be run under your label. PLA is the largest part of the catalog, but PETG, PETG-CF, ASA and TPU come off the same lines at the same tolerance. Diameter is 1.75 mm; the catalog ships on 1 kg spools. ABS, PC and PA-CF are not in production — ask before you quote them to a customer.

What can carry your brand instead of ours.
Private-label filament is a normal run for us, not a special project. Everything below is quoted against the spec you send, and the spec you sign off is the spec we produce.
-
SPOOL LABEL
Your artwork on the spool label — brand, material, color name, diameter, net weight and your own SKU or part number. Send print-ready artwork, or a layout and we set it to the label dieline.
-
SPOOL
Spool color and core, printed or plain. Spool size, core dimensions and material are quoted per run rather than picked from a fixed list.
-
BOX
Individual spool cartons printed to your artwork, plus master carton markings your warehouse or 3PL can receive against.
-
BARCODES & SKUS
Your GTIN, UPC or EAN and your SKU printed on the label and the carton, so stock arrives scan-ready instead of needing a relabel on arrival.
-
INSERTS
A printed instruction card, drying schedule or a QR code to your own support page, packed inside the box with the spool.
-
SEALING
Filament is vacuum-sealed before boxing, specified below 10% RH at pack. Bag printing is quoted per run.
-
BUNDLES
Mixed-color multipacks, starter sets and material sample kits assembled and packed to your pick list rather than shipped loose.
-
WHAT WE WON'T PUT ON IT
We issue an SDS per material and RoHS and REACH statements. We do not issue certificates of analysis, per-batch test reports or ISO marks — so your packaging and your marketplace listings should not claim them either.
From spec to shipment, in seven steps.
The same sequence runs whether the order is one material in your colors or a full range under your label. Two of the seven steps are yours, and they are the two that decide whether the rest is worth doing.
-
Requirements
Owned by:YOU + VANYO
Material, color, diameter, spool and packaging spec, volume and destination. If you already sell a filament, send a spool — matching a product in hand is faster and more accurate than matching a description.
-
Samples
Owned by:VANYO
Sample spools produced to the agreed spec: one 1 kg spool per candidate material at carton pricing, credited against your first carton order.
-
Testing
Owned by:YOU
You print it on your own machines, with your own profiles and your own parts. This is the step that decides the order, so it is worth the week it takes.
-
Approval
Owned by:YOU
You sign off three things: the sample, the artwork proof and the packaging spec. Nothing is scheduled for production until all three are agreed in writing.
-
Production
Owned by:VANYO
The run is scheduled and extruded on our own lines — the same lines and the same tolerance as our own catalog. Lead time is confirmed with your pricing.
-
Quality control
Owned by:VANYO
Diameter, ovality, moisture at sealing and color are checked against the specification below before spools are labelled and boxed.
-
Shipping
Owned by:VANYO
Dispatch from our factory in China by sea or air, to your warehouse or your 3PL. Freight, transit time and Incoterms are quoted per destination.
Sample turnaround and production lead time are confirmed with your quote.
What can be changed inside the spool.
Owning the lines is what makes this ordinary rather than exceptional: color, diameter and spool format are production variables here, not special orders placed through somebody else's factory. Anything not already running in the catalog is quoted against your specification rather than promised in advance.
Material selection help costs nothing. Tell us the part and the machine and we will say which of our materials fits and which does not, or work through the material-by-job breakdown yourself first.

Ø 1.75 ±0.02 mmWhat we control, and what we do not claim.
We are the producer, not a trading company, so these checks happen on our own line before spools are labelled and boxed — not at an agent's warehouse after the fact, where a bad run is already your problem.
- DIAMETER
- 1.75 ±0.02 mmAn inline laser gauge reads the strand on two axes continuously during extrusion, and the line stops automatically if either axis leaves ±0.02 mm — so out-of-spec material is caught on the line rather than found later in a spool.
- OVALITY
- ≤0.02 mmRead off the same two-axis laser measurement as diameter, so the filament feeds round through a Bowden tube and through an automated changer, not just through a straight path.
- MOISTURE
- <10% RH sealedSealed at pack. Wet PETG and TPU print badly weeks after purchase, and that arrives as your customer's return, not ours.
- COLOR
- ΔE ≤1.0Against the approved reference, so the second run of your brand color matches the first one your customers already bought.
- NET WEIGHT
- 1 kgNet filament weight per spool across the catalog, excluding spool tare.
- PRINT TEST
- Every batch, on our own machinesEvery batch is test-printed on our own machines and checked that it feeds and prints cleanly before it ships. We do not publish a named test part, and this is a process check rather than a document — we issue no per-batch report.
- LOT RECORDS
- Not in placeWe do not issue certificates of analysis, per-batch test reports or per-spool lot traceability today, and we would rather say so here than after you have printed it on a box.
Documentation available per material: SDS, RoHS statement and REACH statement. These are producer statements, not third-party certifications — we do not hold ISO 9001 and we do not describe our filament as certified.
- SDS · EVERY MATERIAL
- ROHS STATEMENT
- REACH STATEMENT
Start with a spool, not a container.
There is no single private-label MOQ, because a private-label run is priced by how much of it is custom.
-
WHAT SETS THE MOQ
Four things: the material, whether the color is a stock color or a matched one, the packaging (printed labels and boxes carry their own print minimums), and the size of the order overall. We quote it per project rather than publish a number we would then have to break.
What sits behind each of those four, and what to ask a factory about them, is broken down in the OEM filament procurement guide.
-
SAMPLES
One 1 kg spool per candidate material, at carton pricing, credited against your first carton order. Print it on your own machines before anything is scheduled. Sample spools carry our label.
-
OUR LABEL FIRST
Plenty of buyers start unbranded and move to their own label once the material is qualified. The wholesale program starts at one carton — 20 spools per material and color — with published volume tiers.
Lead time is confirmed with your quote.
Manufacturing for your brand, answered.
Are you a 3D printer filament manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer — a 3D printer filament manufacturer in China, not a trading company or a sourcing agent. We own and run the extrusion lines and sell our own catalog off the same lines. We have also produced filament for established brands in the industry; those agreements do not let us name them publicly, but we will verify the relationship privately under NDA — sample lots, test reports, references, or a line audit. More about how we produce, and the questions that separate the two are set out in our guide to how to choose a 3D printer filament manufacturer.
Can you manufacture private-label 3D printer filament?
Yes, and it is routine rather than exceptional. Your artwork on the spool label and the box, your SKUs and barcodes, your color, packed to your spec. Send the spec and we quote the run.
What filament materials can you manufacture?
PLA is the biggest part of the catalog, so a buyer looking for a PLA filament manufacturer starts there: PLA and PLA+ plus the specialty PLAs (silk, matte, metallic, dual-color, glow, fluorescent). Also in production: PETG, PETG-CF, ASA and TPU-95A — all at 1.75 mm to a published ±0.02 mm tolerance. ABS, PC and PA-CF are not in production, so please ask before quoting them to a customer.
Can you produce custom filament colors?
Yes, on our own lines — which is the practical reason to work with a producer rather than a reseller. Send a spool, a printed part or a color reference and we quote the minimum run and the lead time. Matching tolerance is confirmed per project.
What is the MOQ for private-label filament?
It depends on the material, the color, the packaging and how much of the run is customized — printed boxes and labels carry their own print minimums independent of the filament. We quote it per project. If you want to start smaller, the unbranded wholesale program begins at one carton of 20 spools, at published per-spool tiers. For what sits behind each of those minimums, and the order to take the decisions in, see how to start a private label 3D printer filament brand.
Can you create custom packaging?
Yes: printed spool labels, individual spool boxes, printed inserts, bag printing, master carton markings and multipacks, all to your artwork. Spool size, core and seal options are quoted per run.
Can I order samples before bulk production?
Yes, and you should. One 1 kg spool per candidate material at carton pricing, credited against your first carton order. Print it on your own machines and profiles — a sample that only prints well on ours is not evidence of anything.
Measure what arrives rather than trusting the sample. The spool audit protocol in our 2026 sourcing guide is the method we would hand a buyer who asked how to audit us.
Do you manufacture OEM 3D printer filament?
Yes. OEM here means you specify the material, color, diameter, spool and packaging, and we produce to that specification under your brand. It is the same production route as our own catalog — same lines, same ±0.02 mm tolerance, different label. The practical difference between an OEM filament manufacturer and a reseller is whose specification the run is built to: yours, or whatever was already on the shelf.
Can you ship filament internationally?
Yes. Production and dispatch are from our factory in China, by sea or air, to your warehouse or your 3PL. Freight, transit time and Incoterms are quoted per destination alongside your pricing.
How do I request a quotation?
Use the quote form. It takes about two minutes and asks the four things that set the price: material, volume, destination, and what needs customizing. Pricing follows in one business day. If you would rather talk it through first, contact us.
